Kawasaki, known for its high-performance JET SKI® watercraft, dominated this year’s International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Kings Cup in Thaihland. With a final tally of 20 championships, 2003 marked another fantastic year of racing for Kawasaki.The company’s factory-support riders swept the top pro classes with two world championship trophies. Dustin Farthing grabbed the gold in Pro Runabout 1200 on his JET SKI 1200 STX-R® watercraft, and teammate Steven Dauliach raced his JET SKI 800 SX-R to victory in Pro Ski at World Finals. On the otherside of the world Jeff Jacobs Raced his 800SX-R and Dustin Farthing his STXR to Kings Cup Champions. Another 16 trophies were handed out to Kawasaki riders winning world and national titles in amateur, novice, expert, masters and women’s classes. The races took place World finals October 5 to October 12 and Kings Cup Dec 6.
"This was an incredibly exciting year of racing for Kawasaki," said Steve Fischer, product manager, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. "We took home twice as many championships as any other manufacturer, and we’re very proud of that accomplishment."
On the heels of these world and national championship titles, Kawasaki announced the release of another high-performance JET SKI watercraft with exceptional acceleration and incredible handling – the JET SKI STX™-15F. This leading-edge, four-stroke runabout will hit dealerships as early as Spring 2004 and is expected to be a favorite among those with a "need for speed."

​Jet ski racing is a thrilling and exciting water sport that involves high-speed races on personal watercrafts, also known as jet skis. The sport has grown in popularity in recent years, with professional jet ski racing leagues and tournaments taking place all around the world.
Jet ski racing requires a combination of skill, strength, and endurance, as riders navigate their way through challenging courses and rough water conditions. The jet skis themselves are highly specialized and designed for racing, with powerful engines and agile handling.
One of the key skills in jet ski racing is the ability to maneuver the jet ski through tight turns and around obstacles. This requires a combination of hand-eye coordination and balance, as well as a strong understanding of the physics of the jet ski and how it responds to different inputs.
Jet ski racing also requires a high level of physical fitness, as riders are exposed to the elements and must maintain their balance and control over long periods of time. In addition to the physical demands, jet ski racing also requires mental toughness and the ability to focus under pressure.
As with any high-speed sport, safety is a major concern in jet ski racing. Riders must wear protective gear, including helmets, life vest, and wetsuit, and follow all safety guidelines and rules. In addition, jet ski racing courses must be designed and maintained to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
Jet ski racing is an exhilarating and rewarding sport that attracts a dedicated and passionate community of riders. Whether as a spectator or a participant, the thrill of jet ski racing is hard to beat.

​After the success of last years event RPM Racing are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Huntington Beach Jet Ski Moto-Surf & Jetski Freeride, April 5-7 at the Huntington Beach Pier (south side)! This much anticipated JetSki event will feature 2 days of IJSBA sanctioned watercraft Jet Ski racing & 3 days of Jet Ski freeride competition. They are working diligently to have the Jet Ski racing event filmed and edited into two (2) - 1/2 hour shows on MAV Tv and will be making announcements as soon as this becomes finalized. 

​Pit Parking: The City of Huntington Beach California has granted access to the lot off Huntington Street & PCH for this Jet Ski event. This lot is much larger to accommodate all Jet Ski race teams, enclosed trailers & motorhomes (dry camping only, no hook ups). All Jet Ski teams must indicate what type of trailer (single, double or enlcosed, if enclosed, what size) in addition to their Jet Ski entry form submission. Pit parking fee (includes vehicle and up to a two boat trailer is $100 for 3 days). If "carpooling" with another Jet racer, please indicate the Jet Ski rider you will be carpooling with for verification purposes. Only 1 parking fee will be charged if carpooling (same as last year). Motorhome/RV's will pay an additional $150 for 3 days of parking in addition to the regular parking fee of $100 for 3 days regardless If only coming for Saturday & Sunday Please contact Ross to discuss parking lot for enclosed trailers/motorhomes but please remember space is limited. Additional passenger vehicle passes can be purchased at registration for $25/day (single passenger vehicles only, provided space is available.)

​Pro Watercross is proud to announce the official event schedule for the 2018 season. The Jet Ski Pro Watercross National Tour features six jam-packed events starting in May through November, ending with its World Championships in Naples, Florida. "Pro Watercross has become the largest and most popular watercross series in the country and this season's schedule will continue to bring growth to the sports, thanks to a great group of tour partners and host cities with fans all looking forward to our watercross race events," said Jennifer Handler, CIO of Pro Watercross.

​Pro Watercross events will include the Watercross National Tour and special events, Hydroflight Open Tour, as well the introduction of a new concept in racing... Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Closed Course Racing.


Pro Watercross is working to revise its mission statement to include all categories of watersport racing events to appeal to people from all walks of life. "We will continue to support the powersports industry with our events, while producing events for watersport enthusiasts to gather and share a one-of-a-kind beach lifestyle experience" continued Ms. Handler. Since its inception in 1995, UWP, owner and producer of Pro Watercross events has become the largest watercross tour in the United States and is supported by industry-leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM's).


CHANGES TO THE TOUR: The Tour would like to welcome Racine, Wisconsin back to the tour; Racine's North Beach Park is an ideal location for a tour stop, vast beach area with great surf, ample parking with close proximity to downtown hotel with great food and entertainment.
"We have been working hard to have Pro Watercross return to Racine. It's one of those events that both locals and out-of-town visitors seek out for a summer weekend. Between the athletes, the enthusiastic fans, and the always-stunning North Beach venue, I don't know why anyone would want to miss this show. Bring your family, your friends, your neighbors, and prepare for the most intense beach party ever!" said Cari Greving, Real Racine Event Director.


The positive economic impact the tour will generate also means Racine's businesses can anticipate receiving a major boost with the tour's arrival drawing thousands of people to their city. "Hotels, restaurants, bars and practically every other business in Racine will benefit from having a Pro Watercross National Tour Stop in town," continued Jennifer Handler CIO.


Sparks, Nevada: The 2018 US Open of Watercross will be a stand-alone event held at Sparks Marina Park; the event will be incorporating watercross racing and hydroflight competition on Saturday and closed course SUP racing on Sunday. The highlight of the weekend will be the watercross racing, which has been featured over the past six years in Sparks, NV. This will be the first tour event to incorporate all three events into one single event.  *Special Event
