The lake shown is the smallest of three lakes all joined together by rivers. The three lakes are surrounded by 2 camping sites with full services (pool, tennis etc...) The local fishing club is where we go to put our PWC's to water. The fees range between $10 to $15 Canadian. It's not really a fishermen's paradise but for water related sports, three lakes joined together by rivers is a good thrill. When the water is high like on the photo the main supply of water goes up and we can ride a network of ¨S¨ type rivers.  Report : The waves in the Great Lakes are killer to jump. The only thing you really have to do is jump one wave and hope to hell you clear the next one or not case the third one. They roll in one after the other with about 6 ft. in between. We also have some great surf riding. West Lake has about 5 miles of fresh water sand dunes, largest in the World, no kidding. -Jay
Report : Whether you love mad air or sick speed we have it all going on here! As I ride my 99' Yahama GP 1200, I have experienced some of my best riding here on Rochester's shores of Lake Ontario. Early spring, zip up the wetsuit and your set. See I really love riding so the cold doesn't really get to me. Plus at this time of the year boat traffic is at a minimum, so it's a perfect time to break your ski in for the crazy, off the hook summers we have here. This time of the year, you can really open up your PWC and really see what it's capabilities are. My personal best, well I broke 67 mph already this season, and let me just tell you it was one of the greatest rush's I've ever engaged! Well summer time really doesn't need much explination. Great people on the water, sunshine and great fun are the main ingredients. Boat traffic is at a peak this time of the year, so the wake's are up, sometimes pushing close to 5 to 10 feet. Depending on the boat of course! We get the cement and Huge cargo ships here too. That's when you bust out some sick manuvers! Rochester's waterfront is rocking from sun up till sundown, at least for us skiers, boaters I guess are lucky and can stay out past sundown. Me personally, I get my fill while the sun is shining! Numerous resturants, and hang-outs line the Gennesse River. Check out O'Laughlin's or the Pelican's Nest, those are my favorites! If you can deal with a little cold earlly and late in the season, your set. You can get a good 9 months of skiing out of the year. Baja Mexico
Report: A great place to ride around San Diego is the Baja Coast. Head south to Mexico and stop at a drive thru insurance place. $20 a day insures your car and skis in Mexico up to $20000. Head down the coast on Route 1 past Tijuana about an hour ($12 in tolls) and take in the most beautiful views you can even comprehend. Start looking for campgrounds on the beach. It will cost you about $4 american a night. Do not pass Ensenada (too scary). The waves and the view are spectacular. Our weekend camp trip hailed 8-11 ft waves (also scary), crystal clear water and excellent crab dinners (about $7a plate). We slept on the beach to the sound of crashing breakers. Surf teams frequent these rural beaches. Bring your own gas because the highest octane we found in Mexico was 86. The greatest thing about Mexico is that it is a free for all down there. Very little regulations.
