After winning the first two rounds of the Triple Crown of Offshore Endurance Racing, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Craig Warner completed the sweep by winning the final round from Dana Point, Calif. to Oceanside, Calif. and back. Besting second place by more than three minutes, Warner powered his JetSki® Ultra® 300X to an impressive win over fellow Kawasaki riders Scott Burtness, and Nick Vanis who completed the Kawasaki podium dominance. Third Time’s the Charm For the third-consecutive year, Warner came into the third round of the Triple Crown having won the first two rounds. In past years he was unable to clinch the Triple Crown Championship, but this year he was able to put his Kawasaki out front and dominate the field wire-to-wire. The offshore conditions were fairly calm, which was ideal for Warner’s set-up. He took the early lead and was never challenged, taking the checkered flag and the Triple Crown of Offshore Racing Championship. “I was praying to the water and the wind gods for the biggest waves possible today,” said Warner. “I prefer to have the most challenging conditions possible, but it wasn’t the case this weekend. With only a little wind chop, I tried to keep to the kelp beds where it was smooth and I was able to pull a pretty good gap on the field. Kawasaki really stepped it up this year, and made the ski really reliable. There’s been a few championships I’ve been after for a few years, so it’s awesome to finally clinch this title.” In addition to Warner sweeping all three rounds to clinch the Triple Crown Championship, Kawasaki also swept the podium in the both the Pro/Am Open and Amateur Open classes. The performance of the Ultra 300X is no secret as the majority of racers choose Kawasaki. Results
